You are what you eat. Through the study of nutrition discover how the intake of food can have a profound impact on health and well being. Learn how to proactively alleviate the symptoms of many types of diseases such as diabetes and obesity.

Le Cordon Bleu’s postgraduate gastronomic tourism degree is a multidisciplinary program exploring the world of food, cuisine, culture and flavour – and tourism, an industry which is increasingly appreciating the value food and wine experiences can add to the tourist experience.

The Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism is delivered online to students across the globe (with fast internet access) and can be studied in a timeframe suited to life/ work commitments. Students explore the field of gastronomy from its European origins to food and drink in contemporary society, developing important food writing and business skills (such as Event management and marketing).

For students wishing to immerse themselves in on campus studies Le Cordon Bleu’s Bachelor of Business (Food Entrepreneurship) offers an introduction to professional gastronomic practise, exploring artisanal food production methods and food business essentials. This comprehensive 3 year program is offered exclusively at Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide. There is no better place to study in the field than at Le Cordon Bleu in Adelaide, arguably Australia’s culinary capital. Students visit cutting edge food businesses as part of their industry workshops and explore their own creativity and entrepreneurial concepts.

The simple nourishment of food and drink is not just something ordinary. It is magical – how a bowl of Pho Bo can transport your mind to colonial Vietnam, for example! Being granted the 2014 Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism Industry Professional Scholarship will enable me to enrich my understanding of food and wine experiences as they relate to my profession. I haven’t previously rushed into a Master degree for the sake of having one. I have been patiently building my skills waiting for the right topic to stir me. And here it is: Gastronomic Tourism.
