Le Cordon Bleu student gives back as StudyAdelaide ambassador

Le Cordon Bleu student Vaibhavi Godiyal has been selected as one of 19 StudyAdelaide student ambassadors for 2026.

Student ambassadors play a crucial role in supporting StudyAdelaide activities, events and programs throughout the year.

The 12-month commitment will see Vaibhavi assist with student events, programs and activities, plus support in promoting Adelaide as a study destination for local and international students.

She will also be given the opportunity for professional development to enhance communication, leadership and intercultural skills, among other perks.

Vaibhavi – who studied a Bachelor of Business (International Hotel Management) – says being announced as one of StudyAdelaide’s student ambassadors fills her with connection, leadership and purpose.

“When I first arrived in Adelaide, everything was new and unfamiliar,” she says.

“I was introduced to StudyAdelaide through their events which helped me meet people, explore the city and feel part of a community.

I hope to inspire other students coming to Adelaide for the first time. I want them to know that it’s okay to feel nervous, homesick and confused at first, but this city grows on you quickly if you stay open to new experiences.

“For the first few months, I was on the receiving end of that support, and it made a huge difference in helping me settle in.”

She says she is looking forward to giving back to the same community that welcomed her.

“It felt like the right time to pay it forward and help new students feel at home in the way I once did,” she says.

“I hope to inspire other students coming to Adelaide for the first time. I want them to know that it’s okay to feel nervous, homesick and confused at first, but this city grows on you quickly if you stay open to new experiences.

“Adelaide is full of opportunities, and there’s a strong sense of belonging here; you just have to say yes to the opportunities.”
