The annual ranking surveyed more than 24,000 residents worldwide, alongside insights from a panel of over 100 Time Out experts, evaluating cities on their food scenes, nightlife, culture, affordability, happiness and overall vibe.

Melbourne claimed the top spot thanks to its exceptional culinary landscape, vibrant arts culture, abundant green spaces and outstanding liveability, placing ahead of major global cities including Shanghai and London.
