From global luxury hotels to leadership in Adelaide

For Shreyas Aher, studying at Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide was a natural next step in a hospitality career already shaped by some of the world’s most respected luxury brands.

After gaining experience with The Ritz-Carlton and Raffles hotels in India, Shreyas chose to further develop his leadership and commercial expertise through the Master of International Hospitality Management degree.

Reflecting on his time studying, Shreyas says the program helped sharpen his perspective on the industry at a leadership level.

“What I valued most was how refined and commercially focused the learning was,” he says.

“It strengthened my understanding of how world-class hospitality operates at a leadership level, not just on the floor.”

When considering where to pursue postgraduate study, Le Cordon Bleu’s international reputation played a significant role in his decision.

“Le Cordon Bleu’s global standing and its reputation within luxury hospitality immediately stood out,” he says.

“After my experience with Ritz-Carlton and Raffles, I wanted to study somewhere that reflected the same standard of excellence.”

Today, Shreyas continues to build his career in Australia’s hospitality industry as a Food & Beverage Duty Manager at Oval Hotel, where he oversees operations at Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen within the iconic Adelaide Oval precinct.

In his current role, he focuses on leading service delivery while ensuring every guest experience reflects the standards expected of a premium venue.
