chocolate visit

Benns Ethicoa Chocolate Factory Visit

Getting to know the source of our cooking ingredients is an integral part of our learning curve in culinary arts. Malaysia has suitable climate for cacao planting and we did not miss the opportunity to organise a trip to a cacao factory and to also see an actual cacao tree.

Our Diplôme de Cuisine, Diplôme de Pâtisserie and Diplôme de Boulangerie students gained a lot of insights in the process of making various grades of chocolate out of the raw cacao beans. They also get to taste the end products like chocolate truffles and bon bons made by the manufacturer during their visit to the chocolate factory.
