The Wine Fundamentals and Sales diploma provides a variety of expertise on the art of tasting, the discovery of French and European wine regions and the promotion of wine products. This will provide fundamental skills in this field to professionals in culinary arts.

This programme teaches the art of tasting, the discovery of French and European wine regions and the promotion of wine products and provides the fundamental skills for professionals in the culinary arts.

Lessons are given by Le Cordon Bleu Paris Chef Sommeliers Teachers along with professionals from the wine sector.

At the end of the programme, students carry out an internship of two consecutive weeks in the field of wine sales.

Key Information


  • All applicants must be aged 18 years or older.
  • The programme is open to beginners, Experience in wine or practical knowledge is not required.
  • Applicants must possess a baccalaureate or equivalent.
  • Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English (minimum TOEIC Level B1 test)
  • An admission interview is necessary to validate the application.

Teaching Method: Practical & theory classes. Visits and meetings with professionals.

Diploma awarded: The Diploma in Wine Fundamentals & Sales is awarded by Le Cordon Bleu International Foundation.

    Duration: 3 months

    Tuition fees: €7,900. These fees include the application fee (€500), learning material, equipment and all activities (conferences, visits and educational events).
