Chocolate Workshop


Chocolate will no longer hold any secrets for you once you have taken part in our Chocolate Workshop. Those who love chocolate desserts and treats will learn all about the virtues of the cocoa bean and the secrets of preparing chocolate.

Chocolate Workshop Presentation

During this 4 hour pastry lesson, dedicated to chocolate, participants will learn to make two delicious chocolate based creations such as Paris-Brest, chocolate soufflé, chocolate truffles or even the famous Black Forest Gateau.

You will be introduced to the secrets of chocolate and the essential techniques for making top-quality chocolate based creations which will astound your guests. Everything you make will be given to you at the end of lesson along with the recipes used during the Chocolate Workshop. You will also receive a certificate and keep the different accessories (“Le Cordon Bleu” apron, tea towel and cap) used during the workshop.

Le Cordon Bleu Paris workshops are run by renowned pastry Chefs in a tailor-made room with all the necessary equipment. All the ingredients and utensils that are essential for making chocolate desserts, cakes and treats will be at the disposal of those taking part in the workshop.

All short courses are taught in French and consecutively translated into English by a translator.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Apron, tea towel and cooler bag “Le Cordon Bleu” are offered.
During the day of the short course, you will benefit of 10 % discount at Le Café Le Cordon Bleu and at La Boutique, except on books (-5%).
The end time of the course depends on the number of participants.

Experienced pastry Chefs will guide you as you make delicious chocolate creations. The Chef will show you the entire process, from A-Z, and then help you with your technical skills and answer any questions you may have.

The story behind chocolate preparations

Chocolate preparations are extremely popular. You will undoubtedly find a willing audience, which is both well-informed and curious to experience new flavours, to taste your creations. The recipes selected for the Chocolate Workshop all date back many years and have become staples. Black Forest Gâteau, for example, was invented by Josef Keller in 1915! You will, therefore, learn to master recipes which have become pastry classics.
