Wine and Management Diploma

Launch your career in the wine profession

Learn everything there is to know about wine in Paris, the epicentre of international sommellerie. In a 10 month period, you will alternate between theory and practical and realize 3 internships (one during the harvest period). Blind tastings, visits of vineyards (ex: Cognac, Rhone Valley) and renowned establishments, as well as encounters with wine experts, are all included in your Diploma. What next? Follow in the footsteps of our graduates and become a sommelier, wine shop owner, exporter, consultant or wine writer.

Born in the South West of France, Pierre Dutaret’s passion for the restaurant industry was ignited some years ago. A former investment banker who retrained in cuisine, he took his Cuisine Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute in 2009 and became an entrepreneur in 2013. Pierre Dutaret is currently a partner and owner of 6 restaurants, a figure which will rise to 8 by the end of 2018. He gives us the inside story!

For its fourth year, Taste of Paris will open the doors of 'Le Grand Palais' from Thursday 17 May to Sunday 20 May for four days of tastings, encounters and culinary exchanges during which the Chefs from Le Cordon Bleu Paris school will share their talent.
In the Electrolux 'Secrets des Chefs' area, take part in the Chefs workshops:

  • Thursday 17 May from 8pm to 8.45pm - Pastry with Chef Valton
  • Friday 18 May from 8pm to 8.45pm - Boulangerie with Chef Boudot
  • Saturday 19 May from 8pm to 8.45pm - Cuisine with Chef Caussimon and Chef Didier

The 'Laurent-Perrier Theatre' will welcome Chef Eric Briffard’s demonstration:

  • Saturday 19 May from 12pm to 12.30pm - Cuisine Masterclass with Chef Briffard
