‘A la recherche des Femmes Chefs’ (The Goddesses of Food), the film

The documentary filmA la recherche des Femmes Chefs’ (The Goddesses of Food) has just been released. This is a moving film, by Vérane Frédiani, who travelled to the four corners of the globe to meet female chefs who are pioneers in haute gastronomy, restaurants, and wine and food professions. Partly filmed in the former Le Cordon Bleu Paris school premises, this documentary includes interviews with three Le Cordon Bleu alumnae: Patricia Martins, Yuhnwi Lim and Umehani Rangwala.

Guest chefs at Le Cordon Bleu Paris

Every month, we welcome renowned guest chefs for culinary demonstrations. They come to share their passion and expertise with our students and are usually pastry chefs or cuisine chefs such as Cédric Grolet, Shipra Khanna or Juan Arbelaez. An opportunity to discover new personalities in the world of gastronomy. The guest chef demonstrates one or two recipes and explains the techniques involved in making the dishes or pastries.

Gourmet Tutorial with Chef Park

Soyoun Park, Chef Instructor at the Paris school gives a gourmet tutorial on “Brittany shortbread with meringue and Menton lemon cream”. The recipe is taken from ‘L’École de la Pâtisserie’, a cookbook by Le Cordon Bleu® institute and Larousse. Many more delicious recipes can be found in the book. A “benchmark in the field of pastry” according to reader Nadège Elendil.
