We're serving up a Diplôme de Cuisine worth over $30,000 to the hungriest aspiring chef out there in partnership with Canada's 100 Best Restaurants and Postmedia Network. We held our first graduation ceremony of the year on March 18th, 2016 at the Canadian Museum of Nature in downtown Ottawa. We'd like to wish all our graduates nothing but success for the future and all the best in the next steps of their careers!

Gourmet Short Courses

The Gourmet Short Course schedule for the remainder of 2016 is officially live on our website! These courses offer something for everyone, from a beginner to an industry professional. We've got a few classics such as Knife Skills and Macarons but also new courses for our returning foodies such as International Flavours: Vietnam and The Flavours of Provence.

Recipe of the Month

Recipe of the month:
Warm confit chicken salad, little gem lettuce cream

In this elegant salad the chicken thighs are marinated, confit in duck fat, deboned and rolled. Producing a moist and tender texture full of flavour. This is accompanied by pancetta and morels and finished off with a creamy little gem lettuce sauce.
