The semi-final of the UK Scholarship Award will take place will take place across the country with some of the most renowned chefs in the UK.
The UK Scholarship Award 2016 is collaborating with renowned chefs in the UK to host our semi-finals. Mark Greenaway, Will Holland, Frances Atkins, Simon Hulstone and Anna Hansen have all agreed to welcome our prestigious competition to their restaurants.
After submitting their application through our dedicated competition website, successful applicants will be invited to participate in the regional semi-finals which will take place across the country at the following locations:
All semi-finalists will be interviewed and judged by a panel of Le Cordon Bleu’s Master Chefs, alongside the partnered chef. Only the best candidates will then be selected to attend the Grand Final in London.
The 2016 Scholarship Award, a grant that offers an aspiring chef the opportunity to study in our London flagship school. The lucky winner will be awarded the coveted Diplôme de Pâtisserie followed by a 3 month Diploma in Culinary Management. The Scholarship also includes accommodation in central London courtesy of our partner Urbanest and an internship under the guidance of Michelin-starred Chef Clare Smyth MBE.
