Le Cordon Bleu at Sirha 2013
Le Cordon Bleu participates in the Sirha exhibition - January 26-30, 2013 (Salon International de la Restauration, Hôtellerie et Alimentation). This event hosts the famous Bocuse d'Or and World Pastry Cup competitions as well as a series of culinary demonstrations and conferences linked to the world of gastronomy.


More Information Sugar Art Techniques Demonstrations:
Jean-François Deguignet & Nicolas Jordan, Le Cordon Bleu Paris Chefs Instructors, will be present at the exhibition to share their knowledges on sugar art techniques. Demonstrations have been organized at Le Cordon Bleu stand - Place du Marché Hall 6 G104 from Sunday January 27 to Wednesday January 30.

Patrick Caals, Le Cordon Bleu Paris Chef Instructorwill be presenting cooking techniques with the oven manufacturer Bourgeois on Monday January 28 and Tuesday January 29. Stand Bourgeois – 5D95

The World Pastry Cup will be held on January 27-28. This year 22 countries will compete: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Ivory Coast, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, The United Kingdom and The United States. For this competition, Le Cordon Bleu Chefs will be in teams representing France, The United Kingdom and Australia.
The Bocuse d’Or will take place on January 29-30. A total of 24 countries will participate in this competition: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Guatemala (the coach, Jorge Lamport, is a alumni from Le Cordon Bleu Paris 1995), Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
The Mexican team for the Bocuse d’Or is coached by Patrick Martin, Le Cordon Bleu International Executive Chef and includes Miguel Quezada, Chef of Le Cordon Bleu Casa de Francia restaurant in Mexico and winner of the last Trophée Passion competition in 2012 organized by the Académie Culinaire de France.
