Jeux Olympiques 2024

Paris will host the Olympic Games in the summer of 2024. A beautiful, dynamic, open and welcoming city, the capital is going all out for this historic event.

The competitions will take place in iconic locations, with beach volleyball opposite the Eiffel Tower, fencing duels and taekwondo under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, archery on the Esplanade des Invalides and equestrian events at the Palace of Versailles park.

For the first time, the opening ceremony will take place on water rather than in a stadium. On 26 July, around 10500 athletes will parade by boat on the river Seine, between Austerlitz bridge and Iena bridge, over a distance of 6km. The parade will come to a close in front of Trocadéro, with a spectacular finale near Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute. Open to the general public, this will provide the perfect opportunity to show your support for your country in a spectacular setting.

The city of Paris is playing a key role in the organisation of this international event, both for hosting events and for the various ceremonies. From 26 July to 11 August 2024, Paris will showcase the French art of living

Le Cordon Bleu Paris will also organise activities and events to celebrate sport. Further information will be available shortly.

For all those who are passionate about sport, culture and new encounters, the 2024 Paris Olympic Games will provide the opportunity to watch the biggest event in the world against a backdrop of outstanding architectural heritage and take part in enriching sporting experiences.

Begin studying for a Le Cordon Bleu Paris diploma, with a 3 July or 2 October intake, and you will be at the heart of the action and be able to experience these Olympic games to the full!
