Le Cordon Bleu Chef, alumni & contestants

Culinary Experience in Indonesia

Le Cordon Bleu, together with SUN Education Group, recently called for culinary enthusiasts to join the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Experience Competition 2015. Held in Jakarta on 21st through to the 22nd March at the Thamrin Nine Ballroom entrants aged between 17-25 were asked for a combination of the very best of new world innovation and local cuisine to be used with the principles, techniques and artistry of French traditions.

This partnership event also showcased culinary workshops and sharing sessions with Le Cordon Bleu Chef’s including Chef Rodolphe Onno and professionals in the hospitality industry.  Along with sharing sessions and culinary workshops, entrants were required to complete a “Watch, Do and learn” in the Grand Final with the final teams able to showcase their talents in this unique program.

Contestants were required to prepare and present a three course meal in the final and were judged and mentored by Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia, Sunway’s Chef Instructor, Chef Rodolphe Onno, as well as our esteemed Le Cordon Bleu’s alumni from several global campuses.  These included Ray Janson (Le Cordon Bleu Paris, 2009), Ardika D. Tjardra (Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, 2011), Earnest Christoga (Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, 2013), Sandra Djohan (Le Cordon Bleu Paris, 2010), and Steven Khoe (Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, 2010).
