Le Cordon Bleu Dusit organized a special cooking demonstration for “Bangkok Breast Cancer Support Group” (BBCS) teamed up with Ms. Daljeet Saluja-Chairperson of BBCS, the members, their families and friends on 20 September 2012. They had a delightful experience of the Changing Lifestyles Event “Eat Good, Feel Great” at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School. The event aimed at spreading awareness not only about Breast Cancer and but also what foods are nutritious and what cooking methods are the most healthy.
The cooking demonstration was led by Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Executive Master Chef, Chef Fabrice Danniel and the Chef Team, they demonstrated how to cook an impressive variety of healthy dishes, low fat recipes and delightful desserts:-
- Poached Chicken salad with Mixed Berries Dressing
- Pan Fried Red Snapper slices, Raw Celery, Sea Lettuce Salad and Lemon Milk Foam
- Mango and passion fruit smoothie
- Fresh Homemade Yogurt
- Panna Cotta aux Fruits (Sugar Free)
The cooking demonstrations were supported by a seminar by Dr. Jabu Munalula who spoke about Integrative Therapies for wellness and the importance of a healthy diet. All the guests enjoyed learning more about diet and tasted samples of the cooked dishes – they also undertook a tour of the schools facilities.
