Adelaide Career Fair 2017

Le Cordon Bleu’s Career Fair in Adelaide on 20 April was a resounding success with 175 Le Cordon Bleu students and alumni attending. Our Career Fair provides networking opportunities and opens the door to building relationships with Le Cordon Bleu’s industry partners.

Talking to industry professionals gives our students new insights about working in the hospitality industry. By networking with industry leaders our students receive first-hand knowledge of how to achieve specific career pathways. Our industry partners welcome the opportunity to meet Le Cordon Bleu students, to share their knowledge and to introduce their organisation as a potential employer.

What our industry partners say about Le Cordon Bleu students

"You can tell that the students receive top quality training from Le Cordon Bleu teachers and lecturers. My head chefs at Marriot Melbourne and Four Points Sheraton request Le Cordon Bleu students because they are more focused on higher end products and outcomes."

Diana Vieweg, Complex Director of Human Resources, Melbourne Marriott Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Melbourne says the quality of Le Cordon Bleu culinary students distinguishes them from the crowd.

"We love Le Cordon Bleu students. Their presentation and behaviour is perfect for our organisation. Le Cordon Bleu trains a variety of students, they all have strength and great skills. The Le Cordon Bleu Career Services team is fantastic to deal with, they know what I look for and need for a property. The students they provide are tailored to suit our needs. What makes Le Cordon Bleu different is they actually go out into industry and listen to industry partners, which is rare."

Robyn Frahn, Human Resources Officer, Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort has been working with Le Cordon Bleu students for 20 years.

"Le Cordon Bleu students are very passionate about the industry.
My work placement students are always eager and willing to learn the particulars of our kitchen."
