Why did you decide to study at Le Cordon Bleu?
Actually there were two main reasons. Firstly, the possibility of completing my degree in 2.5 years was very attractive. Secondly, having UniSA as a partner to Le Cordon Bleu was also very important as I wanted an Australian University recognition of my degree together with the Le Cordon Bleu qualification.
What do you remember about your time in Adelaide?
I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. I do remember I had a great Industry Placement experience at the Perth Hilton. I was taken under the care of a great supervisor, who became like a mother to me. I learned so much from that experience.
How has your degree helped you with your career?
Le Cordon Bleu is professional, with good, practical and useful training. The bachelor degree provided a taste of everything and it was from there that I decided I wanted to specialise in the Administration side of things.
What does the future hold?
I want to be the Finance Manager of a major hotel and work/travel in other countries like Korea and Japan.
What advice do you have for students wishing to pursue an education in Australia?
Studying in Australia is an experience of a lifetime! You learn to be independent, meet many international friends and learn how to earn and save your own money. The Industry Placement experience enabled me to earn and save enough money so I could pay my living expenses and save my parents some money. It is very rewarding to earn your own salary.
