Miyuki joined Le Cordon Bleu in January 2008 to commence studies in the Bachelor of Business – International Hotel Management program at Adelaide campus.

Why Le Cordon Bleu? There were 2 key factors that influenced Miyuki’s choice of provider for her future study. Firstly, the fact that the Bachelor degree could be accomplished within 2.5 years – this  was a very attractive option. Secondly, the fact that Le Cordon Bleu offers 2 x 6 month paid Industry Placements where students gain valuable internship experience within the hotel industry was also  highly regarded.

Miyuki recently completed the first of her Industry Placements at the Hilton on the Park in Melbourne, Victoria within the Food and Beverage department. Although she was a little nervous about her first work experience, she enjoyed the experience and had a great deal of fun meeting and working with new colleagues.

Miyuki enjoyed her experience in Melbourne so much, she hopes to return to complete her second Industry Placement, perhaps at the Langham Hotel in Melbourne.

In the future, Miyuki would like to continue her studies with a Masters degree program and the focus on Marketing. Her long term goal is to gain employment in Japan with an airline company.

Good Luck Miyuki! We wish you every success!
