Student Success!

Le Cordon Bleu Sydney encouraged students in cuisine to enter the Australian Culinary Federation, NSW Chapter Apprentice Culinary Competition held in Sydney on 22 April 2009. We had five students entered the competition. They were coached by Chefs Karen Doyle and Ross Eckersley.

Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Superior Cuisine student, Stephen Su took out the Overall Winner Gold Award. He won this top award over the 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices!!! Stephen also won the Gold medal 1st & 2nd Year Apprentices. Stephen is a Taiwanese student who is continuing his studies in Le Cordon Bleu Sydney with Patisserie this term.

Also in the 1st & 2nd Year Apprentices, three Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Basic & Intermediate students won Silver medals: they are Jason Twu, Ashraf Rahim, Son Kazma. Bronze medal was awarded to Kittichet.
