Cuisine Diploma 2011

Kwang-Sun Kim graduated from the Cuisine Diploma program in 2011. He managed the cooking studio ‘Laboom’ and worked as a food stylist. He is also a culinary expert of Italian food who has worked with famous chefs from many restaurants. He gradually became interested in French culinary while conducting numerous magazine shoots and corporate restaurant menu consulting. He decided that Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy was the best education institution to learn French cuisine in Korea and without hesitation, began his new chapter of his life at Le Cordon Bleu.

He said that, the Le Cordon Bleu Cuisine Diploma program was good opportunity for him to realize the real taste and flavor as well as the ultimate style and goals that French cuisine pursues. Furthermore as French cuisine is the basic of the western culinary, it helped him to understand western culinary in general including similarities and differences between French cuisine and Italian cuisine. He expects it to create a synergy effect for his present work. He advised future students who start work in this field with hopes of becoming star chefs that they need tireless effort together with their passion to achieve their dream. His lifelong dream is to be a professional Restaurant Developer which is presently not quite common in Korea. If given the opportunity, he would also like to do a TV cooking program with his name.
