Institute for Tourism Studies in Macau

Macau, August 2010 - LE CORDON BLEU, the highly renowned school for culinary arts, in conjunction with the Institute for Tourism Studies in Macau, will be conducting ‘LE CORDON BLEU Master Chef Program’ from the 9th August – 14th August 2010.

Executive Chef Philippe Guiet, of the LE CORDON BLEU Ottawa Culinary Art Schools and former Chef at the famous French restaurant Café Henry Burger in Gatineau, Québec, has been invited as the Master Chef to conduct and celebrate French Cuisine at the Institute for Tourism Studies in Macau. Chef Guiet has worked extensively in France and Switzerland, his experience includes the Hôtel Royal in La Baule, France, the Hôtel Arc-en-ciel in Gstaad and the Hôtel Central Residence in Leysin. Chef Guiet joined Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute in 1990 and is currently the school’s Technical Director. He oversees the culinary curriculum, recipe development and academic evaluation systems.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Philippe Guiet, the “Master Chef program” will feature the finest in classic French cuisine reinterpreted in a modern and innovative context, including a number of plate decoration arts. Chef Guiet aims to offer guests an exclusive gastronomic program and to allow them to experience superb dishes tantalizing their senses throughout this one week French Master Chef Program.
