Julie & Julia Australian Movie Premiere In Adelaide

Le Cordon Bleu is extremely proud to be associated with Sony Pictures to present the Premiere of Julie and Julia in two states of Australia.

Le Cordon Bleu hosted Movie Premieres in both Adelaide and Sydney where VIP’s and invited guests were treated to an extra special Le Cordon Bleu Movie Night.

Le Cordon Bleu students in restaurant service uniform, full chef uniform and business uniform hosted a fabulous Australian Movie Premiere.

Le Cordon Bleu students greeted guests into a private curtained area and were met with the sight of a beautiful arrangement of champagne glasses surrounding a magnificent Croquembouche crowned with the Le Cordon Bleu logo and ribbons in the Le Cordon Bleu corporate colours.

As the guests strolled down the red carpet lined with Le Cordon Bleu banners they were met by Le Cordon Bleu students in Chefs’ uniforms offering canapés and beverages.

One of Le Cordon Bleu’s students You Jin (Jinny) Shin who graduated in 2006 at the Sydney Culinary Arts Institute completing the Diplome De Patisserie Le Cordon Bleu and is now completing her Bachelor of Business (International Restaurant and Catering Management) Degree at Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide has commenced her own private patisserie business and will be expanding into a retail outlet in early 2010.

Jinny greeted guests at the end of the Red Carpet with a beautiful display of her creations.

We were honored to have His Excellency The Governor of South Australia and his wife attend. The Lady Mayoress of Adelaide and her guest also attended.

Other invited guests included Le Cordon Bleu VIPs, media, food writers and Sony Pictures competition winners.

The Australian Premiere of Julie and Julia was featured in a variety of Social Pages including the Adelaide Advertiser, as well as the City Messenger.

Le Cordon Bleu would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful students who volunteered to help on the night in both Adelaide and Sydney. They were absolutely wonderful and we were very proud of them all.
