Le Cordon Bleu is pleased to announce a comprehensive range of Scholarships for 2014. The aim of the Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship scheme is to recruit the brightest and most talented students and to support their professional development and education as they aspire to industry leadership.

2014 Hospitality Entrepreneur Scholarship

Le Cordon Bleu is pleased to launch our Entrepreneur Scholarships for 2014 offering students with the management, innovation and business development skills needed to succeed in these growing and increasingly competitive hospitality areas.

For 2014 only, Le Cordon Bleu will offer two tuition fee reduction scholarships valued at $30,000 dispersed over the three years for each of the following these degrees:

These Scholarships are open to Australian (Citizens) High School students. Applicants will need to demonstrate a strong academic performance and write a one page summary of their hospitality career or business goals.

Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide is the only place in the world offering these entrepreneurial hospitality management degrees which also provide a pathway to the Le Cordon Bleu MBA and Masters of International Hotel Management.

New Zealand Scholarships

The Daniel Shanahan Memorial Scholarship

Daniel Shanahan was a student of St. Kentigern College – Pakuranga & the Auckland Hotel & Chef School before graduating from the Le Cordon Bleu Bachelor of Business in 2003. Sadly Daniel passed away in 2004 as his hospitality career was just beginning. Daniel was a passionate and enthusiastic student who enjoyed his studies and was an excellent ambassador for Le Cordon Bleu.

A scholarship was launched at the 2004 Le Cordon Bleu Graduation Ceremony, at the Hilton Adelaide in honour of Daniel. It offers tuition reductions valued at AUD $30,000 for the following programs

The aim is to assist other young New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who have chosen the hospitality industry as their career to follow their passion and pursue their dreams. This significant scholarship scheme is available to students across New Zealand and is specifically aimed at assisting young students to gain international qualifications that might otherwise be beyond their reach.

Le Cordon Bleu Australia Indian Subcontinent Scholarship

Le Cordon Bleu will offer a AUD$10,000 fee waiver (Year 1, AUD$3000, Year 2, AUD$3000, and Year 3, AUD$4000) for Bachelor Degrees offered in Sydney or Adelaide. The Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship recipient will gain a world-recognised degree in the hospitality industry, to build on current skills and provide a passport to the next step in their career.

Applicants will be assessed based on a combination of academic performance and /or professional experience, as well as a personal submission. Scholarships are only available to students from the sub continent.
