  • Admission criteria
    • To be at least 18 years of age at the beginning of the programme.
    • To hold a general or technological baccalaureate or the equivalent (France), High School Diploma (USA), High School Certificate (Japan), GCSE (United Kingdom).
    • Other qualifications are accepted by the Admissions jury as proof of studies and apprenticeships if the candidate can prove that they are equivalent to the aforementioned academic qualifications.
    • Any professional experience in the Culinary Arts or in any job related to this training programme can be mentioned.
  • Waiting List

    We strongly recommend that candidates check availability with the Admissions Department and book their place as quickly as possible. Due to high demand, the School reserves the right to notify candidates that they are on a waiting list. Do you have a question? Contact us.

  • Last minute registration
    We kindly request that students contact the School directly for any application made less than 8 weeks before the start of the program. All information on the terms and conditions of payment, deferral and cancellation can be found on the application form.

5 key steps for registration:

  • Step 1: Preparing the application form
    The application form includes the following:
    • A Curriculum Vitae (education and professional experience)
    • A cover letter (300 - 500 words) explaining why you want to study at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and your professional goals
    • A photocopy of your passport
    • A passport photo
    • A photocopy of any certificates and/or diplomas already awarded
    • Application fee paid in full* (attach a copy of the bank transfer form)
    * note: The application fee must be paid in full to finalize the application. Payment can be made by credit card, Euro check or bank transfer.
  • Step 2: Sending the application form
    Candidates have three options to submit their application:
    • On-line application
    • By email to parisadmissions[at]cordonbleu.edu (replace [a] by @)

  • Step 3: Examination of the application by the Admissions Jury
    All candidates, who satisfy the admissions criteria, will have their application examined by the admissions jury within 10 days.
    Successful candidates will be sent the following documents:
    • Admissions proposal
    • A tuition fees payment form
    • The School’s internal rules
    • Useful information concerning Visas and accommodation
  • Step 4: Payment of tuition fees
    Le Cordon Bleu recommends that prospective students read all documents sent to them very carefully. Tuition fees must be paid in full no later than 8 weeks before the training program begins. Please note that, once this deadline has been passed, the school reserves the right to allocate unconfirmed places to candidates on the waiting list. Application fees are non-refundable.

    Important: We recommend that students should not wait until the deadline to pay the tuition fees if they require a visa for France, as waiting time for a visa can be long (up to 3 months).

    Payment can be carried out via FlyWire.
  • Step 5: Finalizing registration
    A candidate will be considered as registered once tuition fees have been paid in full. Le Cordon Bleu will then send a welcome pack to prospective students including:
    • An official registration certificate (necessary for requesting a VISA)
    • Documents to help prospective students prepare for their arrival in Paris…
