Discovering the tastes of India
On October 1, a special evening in honor of Indian cuisine in presence of Ambassador M. Arun K. Singh, was organized by the Indian Embassy in France and Le Cordon Bleu Paris.

This event featured the Indian Chef Monish Gujral, a restaurateur, award winning author, food columnist, a celebrity Chef and TV show host. Chef Gujral comes from a family of Chefs and his grandfather created the tandoori and the Butter Chicken.

The evening began with a presentation of Indian cuisine by Monish Gujral, who then orchestrated a culinary demonstration. Chef Franck PoupardChef Olivier Mahut and several Indian students from Le Cordon Bleu Paris accompanied Chef Gujral to prepare a traditional Indian dish, biryani.

The demonstration was followed by a cocktail. This event was also an ideal opportunity to bring together the world culinary actors to discuss about Indian cuisine.
