Why did you decide to study at Le Cordon Bleu?
I discovered Le Cordon Bleu on the internet and it offered the international European style of cakes and pastry instruction that I was after. For me, Sydney was the first choice, as it’s so close to Malaysia.
What do you remember about your time in Sydney?
It was FUN! Chef Andre was excellent – he taught with great detail and was happy to share his knowledge and experience. The other good thing is, you get to eat your work!
How has your degree helped you with your career?
After graduation I got the opportunity to set up the first cupcake shop in Malaysia, “Cup Cake Chic”. Then I was approached by ICCA and offered a totally new and challenging role or should I say roles!!!
What does the future hold?
