A Restaurant Management Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu Paris Institute

Restaurant Management Programme

14 April 2016, Paris - Le Cordon Bleu, the leading Global Network of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institutes, presents the Restaurant Management Diploma. This programme trains future professionals and entrepreneurs in new trends and technological innovations in the world of gastronomy, hospitality and tourism.

This Le Cordon Bleu training programme has been created to meet two key needs. Firstly, young post A-level students and newly qualified Chefs, who are keen to carry on their studies in order to be better prepared to manage an establishment in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Secondly, the ever increasing trend for professional retraining in the sector and the desire to follow a short training programme in order to be fully equipped to successfully open and manage a business.

During a 12 month fast-track training programme, taught by professionals from the industry, students learn all the necessary skills to embark on a successful career in a culinary or hospitality establishment, whether as a manager or entrepreneur. With 6 months of lessons alternated with 6 months of work placements, the diploma enables students to assimilate, in an evolving manner, all the facets of the restaurant industry and restaurant management: finance, management, marketing and service. With a clear focus on embarking upon an international career, this programme is taught in English.

In terms of career opportunities, the Restaurant Management Diploma enables students to launch an entrepreneurial project, or to join the management team of a culinary or hospitality establishment. The three work placements, included in the programme, enable students to put the managerial and operational skills learnt during the training programme into practice.

The Restaurant Management programme is very comprehensive. It gave me all the necessary knowledge to create a business plan for my future restaurant. Moreover, the programme has a lot of practical sessions which, in my opinion, are the best way to learn.
