The "Original Aperitif" Contest Winners!
The “Original Aperitif“ Contest Winners!

On Friday, May 30th 2014, the winners were selected for the "Original Aperitif" contest. This event was organized in partnership with SOPEXA Japan as a part of the opening event of "Aperitif 365".

The top 3 contestants were selected from numerous submissions and asked to demonstrate their recipes to the public on the night.

The third prize was awarded to Ms. Yasuyo Iizuka, who presented "Potato with Brie and Roquefort stuffed with Green Peas Paste", with the second prize being awarded to the dish "4 Layers Club (Pains d'Epices, Foie Gras, Green Asparagus in Gelée, Mousse of White Asparagus) with Rhubarb and Raspberry Sauce, Dressing of Celeriac and Fennel, Wild Asparagus" by Ms. Sakiko ISOBE. The first prize dish was "Bouquet" created by Mr. Hitoshi SUGIURA.

This winner received the full score from all the judges. Its perfection received a round of applause.
