Invest in your passion for gastronomy with our new online postgraduate course aimed at those wishing to be involved in the exciting world of food and wine tourism.

The next intake will commence on Monday 17 February 2014.

This presentation will be presented by Dr Roger Haden, Manager, Educational Leadership, Le Cordon Bleu with assistance from Le Cordon Bleu Senior Brand Manager, Ms Sophie Mibus.

Roger Haden has a BA in English literature from Victoria University (New Zealand), a postgraduate diploma in Journalism and Cultural Studies and a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Technology, Sydney. From 2004 to 2009, he taught in the Graduate Program in Gastronomy at The University of Adelaide and also directed the Faculty of Humanities’ Research Centre for the History of Food and Drink. During this time Roger was a regular contributor to The Adelaide Review on the subject of food and cooking, as well as contributing to popular media and journalism. In 2009, he completed Food Culture in the Pacific Islands, published by Greenwood Press and continues to publish essays in scholarly journals. Now Manager of Educational Leadership with Le Cordon Bleu, Dr Haden has the opportunity to work domestically and internationally, designing curricula, facilitating teaching and learning, and enhancing professional options among a student body coming to culinary arts and gastronomy from a diverse range of backgrounds and with differing goals.

This presentation will be of interest to all those interested in learning more about the units and topics available for study, entry requirements, admissions information and other course information.

There will be ample time for discussion and your questions.
