Wine and Management and Restaurant Management Program students took part in the Grand Tasting organized by Bettane+Desseauve at the Carrousel du Louvre
The Grand Tasting, in its ninth year, is one of the most prestigious events in the world of wine. Organized by Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve, it was held at the Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris, on November 28 and 29.

Students from the Wine and Management and Restaurant Management Programs had the opportunity to take part in this event which celebrates the best wines and brings together wine-growers, wine shops, cellar masters, journalists and winegrowing experts from the world over. Under the guidance of wine experts, they took part in the organization and wine service at special tastings as part of a Master Class, Master Class Prestige, Ateliers Gourmet Privilège and Ecole de Terroirs. Amongst the renowned names who participated were: Krug, Château Gilette, Bollinger, Château La Mission Haut-Brion, Taylor’s, Fonseca, Vincent Dauvissat, Veuve Clicquot, Mailly Grand Cru, Didier Dagueneau, Les vins de Pomerol, Lanson, Les Crus classés de Sauternes, Clos de Tart, Gaja and Château L’Evangile.

The event gave students the perfect opportunity to put the knowledge and skills, learnt during their training program at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, into practice.
