Gourmand International donated award winning books to
Le Cordon Bleu London |
| Le Cordon Bleu London has received a generous donation of award-winning cookbooks from Gourmand International. The books were on display at the 2012 London Book Fair as part of Gourmand’s Cookbook Corner, alongside demonstrations from Le Cordon Bleu chefs with help from students and alumni. Gourmand International has held an annual awards ceremony since 1995 to “reward and honour those who cook with words”. One of the objectives of the ceremony is to “increase knowledge of, and respect for, food and wine culture...”. |
| A number of the books featured at the 2012 awards were written by Le Cordon Bleu alumni, which demonstrates that studying at the school can open doors to different professions. |
| The books will be included in our library which is due to open soon at the Bloomsbury campus to complement the recently completed study area, providing computers and a quiet workspace for all students. This signals a step forward for the London school by providing greater facilities for students and enhancing their learning experience. |
