"La Fête de la Gastronomie" at Le Cordon Bleu Paris
‘Les Bibliothèques de Paris’ (The City of Paris Libraries) and Le Cordon Bleu Paris celebrated "La Fête de la Gastronomie"

On September 27, ‘Les Bibliothèques de Paris’ (the City of Paris Libraries) invited the literature and food enthusiasts to attend on a culinary demonstration at Le Cordon Bleu Paris.

Fête de la Gastronomie at Le Cordon Bleu On this special day, Christian Moine, Cuisine Chef from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, has prepared a line-caught sea-bass roasted with spices and ‘poivrade’ artichokes and a langoustine fricassee with cep (porcini) mushrooms, cilantro flavored jus.

Food and Wine Pairing was also highlighted during the demonstration. Arnaud Fatôme presented a wine to pair with each dish:

  • Line-caught sea-bass roasted with spices and ‘poivrade’ artichokes: AOC Saint-Peray « Calcaire » 2011 Domaine des Haut Chassis de Franck Faugier
  • Langoustine fricassee with cep (porcini) mushrooms, cilantro flavored jus: AOC Riesling « Terroir d’Alsace » 2012 Domaine Zind-Humbrecht

Wine and spirits expert, Arnaud Fatôme is a lecturer for the Wine and Management Program and the Wine and Spirits Initiation, offered at Le Cordon Bleu Paris school.
