Discovering New Zealand flavors
On October 21, an evening dedicated to New Zealand produce was held at the prestigious Cercle de l'Union Interalliée, in Paris.

Organized by the New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the events focal point was the discovery and tasting of New Zealand’s finest fare and premium wines.

Chef Franck Poupard from Le Cordon Bleu school Paris, accompanied by Chef Didier Avril from the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée, prepared several recipes combining French culinary techniques with New Zealand produce such as lamb, venison, salmon, Wagyu beef, Manuka honey, avocado oil, vanilla, shellfish and kiwis of course.

On this occasion, many of the producers and local distributors, along with New Zealand’s cultural stakeholders attended this event.

Opened in 2012, Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand aims to train the future Chefs and leaders in the hospitality industry, and offers several programs in culinary arts, including the 'Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business'. As co-sponsor of the event, Le Cordon Bleu proves its commitment to supporting New Zealand’s economic and cultural growth.
