Dedicated to the world of food and formed in 1984 to support research and education in the field of culinary studies The Culinary Trust has developed into a significant culinary body where its accomplishments include the provision of scholarships for culinary education, and grants for culinary research at a time when the culinary field has emerged from its popular perception as a trade, to its current status as a profession. Originally chaired by the late Le Cordon Bleu alumni Julia Childs, Le Cordon Bleu is a proud supporter of The Culinary Trust and sponsors several scholarships to its campus' and programs including those in Paris, London and Australia. Le Cordon Bleu Australia is pleased and excited to announce the scholarship winner for 2013 Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism, Tiffany Poe. Tiffany comes from a long background in hospitality as a lecturer and Chef in Oklahoma and has numerous interests in the hospitality business with an inn, a blog and a culinary service to name a few!
“Receiving this scholarship means that I can complete my degree in gastronomy and go on to share my love for cooking and hospitality with many students, guests and professionals for years to come.”
According to Sophie Mibus, Brand Manager for Le Cordon Bleu's Master of Gastronomic Tourism “Tiffany is indicative of the students we are attracting for this course, they are talented and passionate about food and gastronomy, and often looking for an additional qualification that they can complete around their other day to day commitments.”
