Le Cordon Bleu London hosts another great Cuisine Evening
Superior Cuisine students hosted a Student Event dinner on Thursday 26 April to demonstrate the skills they have learnt whilst studying for Le Cordon Bleu’s Cuisine Diploma
The event, which is unique to the London school’s Superior Programme, gives students an idea of what to expect in the restaurant industry. The Superior level encourages students to display creativity in both the taste and presentation of their dishes as they approach the end of the Cuisine Diploma. Volunteering students from the Basic and Intermediate levels of the cuisine cycle acted as waiting staff for the event, providing the ideal opportunity to see what will be expected of them at Superior level.
Working together to create a number of courses, students are assessed on teamwork, producing dishes in quantity, and working to a deadline and budget with the event contributing to their final grade. This provides a true test of the student’s skills and knowledge as they prepare for a career working to the level of excellence taught by Le Cordon Bleu.
Tickets for the event, held twice a term at our Bloomsbury campus, are exclusively for current Le Cordon Bleu students, with members of the press also invited. Fiona Temple - Food Editor for The Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine - was in attendance to taste for herself the product of our students’ hard work, with an article due to be published in the Saturday publication.
To attend future dinners, students can purchase tickets from Customer Services only at a cost of £15 each.
