Q: Why did you choose to enrol for Le Cordon Bleu London’s Diploma in Wine, Gastronomy and Management?
A: I did some WSET courses alongside my previous job, but when I decided I needed a full change in career I became more serious about my next move and came to Le Cordon Bleu London due to its reputation.
Q: What was your biggest learning curve throughout the course?
A: I would have to say blind tasting- I wasn’t used to talking about wine but now I can talk about it with confidence.
Q: Did the course improve your confidence when talking to winemakers and other wine professionals?
A: Absolutely, I soon understood what they are doing so I could constructively contribute to their conversations. It also helps that they don’t have to speak in basic terms with me anymore. Each time I have a conversation with them, it just gets better and more in depth.
