Her Excellency Mrs Aloun Ndombet-Assamba attended Superior Student Afternoon Tea Event.

On Tuesday 29th April, Le Cordon Bleu London welcomed Her Excellency Mrs Aloun Ndombet-Assamba, High Commissioner of Jamaica to the school accompanied by her sister, Maria McFarlane. 

High Commissioner Assamba attended the ever successful Afternoon Tea Party hosted by the Superior Patisserie Students. A visit by such distinguished guests was an extra treat for our students who had worked incredibly hard to produce an Afternoon Tea worthy of any Five Star Hotel in the capital.  High Commissioner Assamba kindly had her photograph taken with our students, and spent time speaking with many of them about their future career aspirations and hopes. She expressed her appreciation and said it was a wonderful afternoon and sent congratulations and good wishes to all our students and staff.

Superior Pâtisserie students host a formal afternoon tea event which provides a taste of working in the industry - producing food in quantity, working as a team, working to a deadline and exposure to the hospitality environment. The afternoon tea event is unique to London’s superior patisserie programme and contributes to students’ overall grade. Example of pastry work created for the student afternoon tea event.
