The first thing you need to know before you touch down in Malaysia is your arrival terminal. Will you be in the main airport of KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) or KLIA 2 ? Both are relatively close to each other but they are in actual fact rather removed from the main city centre of Kuala Lumpur. Fret not as there are an abundant of transportation modes that will get you to town. The costliest is of course, by limo taxi which should set you back approximately RM100 to RM150 (USD 32 to USD49) from door to door. Otherwise, take a train from KLIA or a bus from KLIA 2 to town and head to the nearest LRT station. The LRT will take you through various tourist spots in KL so feel free to explore and make a few stops whenever you’re on one.

Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia campus is located in Bandar Sunway, a self-contained township with a myriad of public transports that can get you from one point to the other with ease. Within Bandar Sunway itself is a host of activities that students such as yourself will enjoy thoroughly. The local mall Sunway Pyramid is only a stone’s throw away and you’ll be able to catch a movie or a bite with ease. And if you’re feeling peckish in the middle of the night, just drop by any “mamak” shop and chow down on the famous “roti canai”.
