Le Cordon Bleu brings French Culinary Tradition to Shanghai

Shanghai, May 2010 - LE CORDON BLEU, the highly renowned school for culinary arts, management and gastronomy in the world, in conjunction with the Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai, will be conducting LE CORDON BLEU Afternoon Tea Promotion and after Dinner Chocolate Buffet from the 28th of May to the 2nd of June, 2010.
Shanghai, 5-6 June 2010 – Le Cordon Bleu, in collaborate with City’ Super, will be offering interactive events at their cooking studio - "Culture Club", to celebrate City Super’s newly opened shop in China at Shanghai IFC Mall.
Chef Patrick Lemesle, Technical Director of pastry from Le Cordon Bleu Japan will present a tempting pastry menu with his own talented touch.
Chef Patrick Lemesle started to learn pastry at the early age of 15. His professional experience includes obtaining the highly prestigious qualification ‘BREVET DE MAITRISE’ and working in various Parisian Maisons which have enabled him to develop and master his skills and techniques.Chef Lemesle also worked with the famous Chef Eric Kayser team for seven years and has contributed to the opening of various shops across the France.
The Le Cordon Bleu Afternoon Tea Promotion will feature the finest in classic French pastry reinterpreted in a modern and innovative context, including a number of Le Cordon Bleu signature recipes. Chef Lemesle aims to offer Chinese guests an exclusive gourmet event where they will experience superb cakes that tantalize their senses throughout this one week French gourmet extravaganza.
Chef Lemesle’s special demonstrations for food lovers on May 28 and for aspiring chefs on June 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel will display Le Cordon Bleu’s unique teaching methodology based on perfecting French culinary techniques.
