Winner of Dux Award: Natalie Potter

Natalie PotterNatalie undertook a double degree of Bachelor of Business (International Restaurant & Catering Management) and Bachelor of Business (International Hotel & Resort Management) at Le Cordon Bleu Australia which she completed in 3 years. She also received Academic Dux Award for the Hotel & Resort Management degree.

She completed her first professional industry placement at Malmaison (one of UK’s top hotel chains) where she started in Food & Beverage. She was then promoted to Barista Trainer and again promoted to Hotel Somelier. She undertook training at all of the Malmaison properties.

During her time at this property she had the opportunity to meet Gordon Ramsay who offered her a position in one his restaurants, but she didn’t take up that offer.

Natalie completed her second professional industry placement at Malmaison Leeds, where she was employed as Head Sommelier, Brassiere/Bar Supervisor and People & Development Leader for the Food and Beverage Department.

Since returning from professional industry placement, she has recently gained a position as Restaurant Manager in Restaurant Air in Adelaide.
