Winner of The Most Outstanding Apprentice 2009

Pin-Jui Su (Stephen)

Pin-Jui Su (Stephen), one of Le Cordon Bleu culinary students, was awarded “The Most Outstanding Apprentice 2009” in the Sydney Culinary Challenge held at the Convention Centre September this year. Stephen also received medals for his effort in the following events:

  • Apprentice-Poultry Main Course: Silver Medal.
  • Apprentice-Fish  Main Course: Bronze Medal.
  • Apprentice-Meat Main Course: Silver Medal.

Early this year, Stephen took out the "Overall Winner Gold" Award at the Australian Culinary Federation, NSW Chapter Apprentice Culinary Competition held in Sydney April 2009. Stephen won this top award over the 3rd and 4th year apprentices. He also won the gold medal over the 1st & 2nd year apprentices.

Stephen enrolled with Le Cordon Bleu Australia in July 2008. He completed the Superior Cuisine and Superior Patisserie in September 2009 at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Culinary Arts Institute. Stephen is undertaking his six month industry experience in Sydney and will continue his Advanced Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu.
