Le Cordon Bleu News, 02/26/2009
This first time event was hosted by the Canadian Cancer Society to raise awareness for women's cancer-related health issues.
The flavours and traditions of Ottawa' s diverse community were showcased including that of Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa's student body who prepared intricate petits fours, "miniature French pastries".
This event took place at The National Archives, at 395 Wellington Street, in Ottawa on Monday, February 23rd from 7-10 p.m. and was a great success!
Cancer has no boundaries; age, gender, ethnic background -it affects us all. This evening was an opportunity for fellowship, entertainment and yummy desserts rated by local celebrities while sharing information about care, research and support available to people battling cancer right here in our community.
Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa is a strong supporter of Community driven initiatives such as The Trees of Hope, The Annual CMHC Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Competition or the Dress for The Cure Event happenning on Thursday the 5th of March 2009 at the Bay Rideau.
