The presence of André Cointreau, president of the Le Cordon Bleu group, gave the graduation a very special touch
|
| Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), June 29th 2012 - The renowned chef Diego Guerrero, chef of Club Allard and owner of two Michelin Stars, sponsored a new class of Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, in the last award of Grand Diplôme® and Cuisine and Patisserie Diplomas. |
| The graduation ceremony held on the campus of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Madrid), was also attended by the President of Le Cordon Bleu, André Cointreau, who chaired the event with Daniel Sada, Rector of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. André Cointreau showed his support on the students and dedicated a few words to them: “the professional success of the students will be the triumph of the School” and claimed they should “live with ambition and keep their motivation alive”. For its part, Daniel Sada made the most of the special occasion to appreciate the dedication, effort and perseverance of the future chefs. |
| Diego Guerrero encouraged them by saying that “cuisine is similar to life, with its disappointments and successes”, and told them that after 18 years he still enjoys it with the same passion. The prestigious chef from Alava is, at this moment, owner of two Michelin Stars obtained in 2006 and 2011. |
In addition to the Diplomas and Grand Diplôme® awarded to the students having successfully completed the classic cycles, Basic and Intermediate Certificates were also conferred to the students.

Le Cordon Bleu Madrid is the third European School of the French institution, after the Paris and London premises. While celebrating the success of its first year of academic life, the School continues enrolling new students and is preparing to launch their summer intensive programs.
