Madrid, July 2014.-A few days after Le Cordon Bleu Madrid’s first students graduated in Spanish Cuisine, three new groups of students started studying the discipline. In total, more than 30 students are currently learning all about the classical techniques, recipes and ingredients of the Spanish cuisine.
Thanks to its success, and the increasing demand from international students to be able to take the Diploma, the Spanish Cuisine program will be translated into English starting next September 29, 2014.
This program, with live translation, studies the evolution of Spanish gastronomy from its traditional origins through to today´s avant-garde cuisine, which has been inspired by the use of the latest and most innovative techniques applied to Spanish cuisine.
The next sessions will take place:
- from September 29 to December 24, 2014
- from January 7to March 31, 2015
The “Diploma in Spanish Cuisine”, which was launched in January 2013, is only taught at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid and has become one of the most popular programs.
As all Le Cordon Bleu cuisine and pastry diplomas, this program is divided into three levels: Basic, Intermediate and Superior
Basic level focuses on taste and product awareness; students discover traditional methods as well as learning how to develop exceptional dishes by using high quality raw ingredients and basic techniques.
During intermediate level, gastronomic richness and diversity of customs play a key role as students depart on a cultural and culinary journey through the different Spanish regions. Modern versions of typical tapas and pintxos are also featured.
In superior level, after mastering the classic techniques, students explore avant-garde Haute Cuisine, and discover the most pioneering creations of renowned Spanish chefs.
