Hautes Etudes du Goût 2014 scholarship
Le Cordon Bleu International is proud to announce the 2014 Hautes Etudes du Goût (HEG) scholarship, which will substantially help the successful applicant to attend one of Le Cordon Bleu’s most prestigious programs.
HEG, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, is a unique offering for graduates and experienced professionals with a passion for knowledge and gastronomy.
Le Cordon Bleu scholarship will award the winner with € 3,150 towards this elite multi- disciplinary program in gastronomy (the total current price is € 6,300). All costs for lectures, translation, events, accommodation, meals and transport (while in Paris, round trip Paris - Reims) are included (exclusive of travel/flights costs to attend the program).
Only 30 participants attend HEG annually. In addition to the wonderful experience HEG provides, and after having satisfactorily completed a written exam and a thesis, the participant will also graduate with a Diploma from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
HEG provides the perfect finishing touch to a Le Cordon Bleu student’s education and we strongly encourage Le Cordon Bleu alumni to apply for a place in this renowned program.

Applicants must be:
  • Minimum 21 years old.
  • Either a Le Cordon Bleu student or alumni OR
  • A culinary / food industry professional.

In addition to these criteria, applicants will also need to:
  • Provide a full personal CV, highlighting all relevant information that may influence the decision of the application panel;
  • Submit two written pieces:
  1. A short essay (500 words or less), entitled:“What HEG will do for my education and career”.
  2. In less than 25 words, state what you think is the essential contribution made by gastronomic education to humanity as a whole.

Note: Before submitting their application for the scholarship program, all candidates must be able to finance the remaining half of their enrollment fees, as well as their travel costs to France in the case of their being named the winner/recipient.
