French Master Chef Program in Macau

Chef Marc BonardExecutive Chef Marc Bonard, of the Le Cordon Bleu Japan Culinary Art Schools and former Chef at the famous restaurant La Casa Niki in Tokyo, has been invited as the Master Chef to conduct and celebrate French Cuisine at the Institute for Tourism Studies External Website in Macau.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Marc Bonard, the “Master Chef program” will feature the finest in classic French cuisine reinterpreted in a modern and innovative context, including a number of plate decoration arts. Chef Bonard aims to offer guests an exclusive gastronomic program and to allow them to experience superb dishes tantalizing their senses throughout this one week French Master Chef Program.

About Chef Marc Bonard:

  • From Quillan in the Languedoc region of France, studied at the Lycee Hotelier in Tain L’Hermitage, received B.E.P. in Cuisine.
  • In 1992 worked in Paris at the Hotel de Crillon.
  • Relocated to Tokyo, Japan in 1994, worked with chef Kiyomi Mikuni (Japan Nouvelle Cuisine pioneer) at his restaurant, the Hotel de Mikuni.
  • Employed as Chef de Cuisine of the Hotel Niki Club in the resort area of Tochigi and also the restaurant La Casa Niki in Tokyo.
  • In 2001, appointed as Chef de Cuisine of Le Cordon Bleu Brasserie.
  • In 2007, joined Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo, expertise in teaching French culinary technique marries with Japanese ingredients.
