Yun-Jung Pee, Owner Patissier of Maman Gâteau, Director of baking school

Pastry Diploma 2005, Bakery Diploma 2011

Yun-Jung Pee graduated from the Pastry Diploma program in 2005 and Bakery Diploma program in 2011. After           graduation from university, she worked in the financial sector, but quit her job during the IMF crisis. At that time, she thought deeply about her future and signed up for baking classes when she decided that was the kind of work she would enjoy her whole lifetime. After the course, she opened her own baking class at home for housewives. However she realized that she needed more in-depth knowledge in her field, and she resolutely entered the Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy. At Le Cordon Bleu, she had a great time with chefs who became her mentors and discovered a new world of pastry.

Presently, she runs ‘Online Market Maman Gâteau’, an organic cookie shopping mall as well as ‘Cafe Maman Gâteau’ and the ‘Baking school Maman Gâteau’. She has also been active in publishing baking books and has appeared on the media. She said that she was lucky to have the opportunity to improve her skills and make the foundation of her career at Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy.
