New Pâtisserie Chef/Lecturer

Chef RocheJoseph spent 3 years studying Hotel Management in India, followed by a 1½ years internship with the Taj Hotel Group – one of India's most prestigious brands.

Following completion of his studies he worked in Bahrain for the Sheraton Hotel working his way through the rank of Commis to Demi chef. It was during this period that he began to specialise in Pâtisserie studying chocolate and sugar at the famous Le Notre school in Paris.

After 5 years he moved to Salzburg in Austria and worked at the famous Mirabel Gardens where the Sound of Music was filmed. He then moved to Australia working with the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and later to the Park Hyatt in Sydney.

He returned to Austria to open his own patisserie in Linz. After 5 years, he returned to Sydney and the Westin Hotel where he worked for 10 years as Head Pastry Chef. We are very pleased that Joseph has recently accepted a Pâtisserie chef/lecturer position at Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney.
