Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy is the official international campus located in Korea. Le Cordon Bleu provided an ultimate training in French culinary education with more than 120 years.

Sookmyung Women’s University, Le Cordon Bleu’s educational partner, is the first private college for women leaps into a rank of internally well-known Women’s University. Sookmyung’s efforts for educational reform and innovation gained further momentum with its declaration of the 2nd Founding in 1995. Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy was founded in 2002 with a joint vision of raising the global leaders who will lead the future culinary industry. It has earned the reputation as the home business administration by launching the Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality MBA program in graduate school in 2006 and Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management major in undergraduate level of study in 2007. Sookmyung Women’s University has recently announced the vision of ‘Producing 10% of our national leaders from SMU graduates trained with S leadership by the year 2020 and turning to the world’s top notch leadership university’. Sookmyung Women’s University also privileged to be selected as the first university in Korea which successfully brought forth the foreign investment from the foreign partner organization like Le Cordon Bleu. It is worthwhile achievement that such initiative will contribute in expanding learning opportunity and benefit at the international standard. Le Cordon Bleu will make a world wide contribution to the continuance of the French “Art de Vivre” by preserving the fundamentals of the culinary arts, developing them and passing them on through privileged partnerships with governments, universities and culinary associations.
