              Bakery Pastry Chef Instructor

              Le Cordon Bleu is the world's largest culinary institution having more than 50 institutions on five continents serving 22,000 students annually. From the first institute in Paris since 1895, our objective is to provide the world's best culinary education and skills which meet the need of the industry.

              Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia was recently accorded the regional Awards of Excellence (by Electrolux Culinary Institution of the Year) at the World Gourmet Summit held in Singapore. Over the past 16 years, the Awards of Excellence has been dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the local and regional hospitality industry, and is used as a benchmark of stature in the food and beverage industry.

              The Award of Excellence seeks to recognise a culinary institution that provides courses for nurturing culinary talents. Eligible institutions must provide full-time and part-time courses, conducted in a formal learning environment, that enrich students with the expert knowledge within the culinary field, The culinary institution has to be certified by the local government bodies and the courses must provide professional accreditation.

              The Awards of Excellence is voted by the public and a select group of key industry decision makers, and results are audited by an independent auditor.


              Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia has been expanding well since 2012, we are offering a position for Bakery Pastry Chef. We welcome industry chef in the related field with teaching experience to join the team.

              Applicant Requirement:

              Experience: At least 8 years working experience in a reputable organization (renowned Bakery & Pastry shop, Michelin Star Restaurant, Fine Dine Restaurant, Hotel). Applicant with at least 5 years teaching experience in the related field , in a renowned cooking school, preferably at one of the Le Cordon Bleu schools

              * Good Knowledge of the foundation of the French pastry 

              * Carry a professional education qualification

              * French nationality

              * Good command of English proficiency

              * Fair computer application

              * Able to work long hours, under pressure, weekend on adhoc basis

              * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a pleasant atmosphere in a multi-cultural environment

              * A disciplinarian possessing exemplary teachers’ qualities

              * Past Teaching experience in a Culinary School will be an advantage
